8-foot-snake mistaken for garden hose by Long Island homeowner
While officials stated that they believe that the 8-foot-long animal was a boa constrictor,

According to a pet store owner that spoke with the news outlet, it may actually have been a Burmese python

So either way, Someone thought an 8 Foot snake was a garden hose? :O Just Wow

And why do they always just post some random snake photo in the article, Doesn't anybody ever take a real photo of the snake they catch?

    Edit:

Found a second article, Same snake, with real pictures and it was confirmed to be a Burmese python.

    https://abc7ny.com/pets-animals/larg...land/10816818/
and again.. they thought that was a garden hose?

Looks like all is ending well for the snake too "Suffolk Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals confirmed the snake is a Burmese python, and are trying to find a proper licensed facility for it.

I think they (the ones who thought it was a garden hose) need to visit the garden shop @ Home Depot or Lowe's a little more often. :D
