Can't get right temps/humidity

Hey guys..
Everything with my snake has been going awesome till it started snowing..
I can't seem to get my temps right or my humidity at the right level. I'm running out of ideas what to do. She still seems happy but I mean I wanna make her living area as good as possible for her.
Any ideas on what I could do to make everything better? Should I switch to a rubbermaid or anything? How do I get the heat right on each side? And what should I do for humidity!
Any information from you guys would be great.

What are the temps in the snake's enclosure at (both cool and warm side)? Where's your humidity sitting at generally? Are you measuring with a decent digital thing or one of those analog jobbies? What sort of enclosure is it exactly? What type of lid does it have? What is your heating source? What's the room like that the enclosure is in as far as temps and humidity? What sort of substrate are you using? Is the enclosure located near a window, doorway or against an outside wall?

Sorry for all the questions but I know that sort of stuff is what folks will need to know to give you specific ideas for getting the snake's enclosure back in spec.

if you look arround this site you will find endless suggestions on how to fix that very thing.
the best rule of thumb is insulation (covering the top and sides with a blanket) and ventilation (making sure the heat and moisture can't escape). a rubbermade will definitely be easier to manage. i use a glass tank and its fine. of course atlanta doesn't have that much snow, but temps and humidity are definitely an issue.
you are going to need to tell us what settup you currently have (as specific as you can get with sizes wattages and current temps and so on) and i know that people will start chiming in and giving advise

She's in a 10 gallon glass aquarium thing. hides on both sides.. stuff like branches and logs for her to climb on. Humidity is anywhere from 35 to 50.. sometimes it's right between 50 and 60 when my humidifier is working. Temps on the hot side are 85 and cold side 75. She hasn't been acting much differently but I still worry. She's on a TV stand against a wall. There's an undercage heater on the hot side. Umm.. lid is mesh. I have a heat lamp as well that I use during the day. It really sucks because Winnipeg doesn't have much for reptile stores. Not sure what else to say about it.

sounds like those temps need to be bumped up a lot more ... i finally got mine stabilized at about 92 on hot side and 79-82 on cool side (cool side fluctuates with house temp a bit)

humidity i try to not let fall below 40% .. finally got a humidifier setup i am trying to finish up in a day or two that should keep it 50 to 60% all the time

for heat i just have a UTH .. (mine is a 20 gal glass with locking screen top) ... and that seems to keep the temp close enough as long as my house temp doesn't drop below 65 during the winter

for humidity .. i was misting the cage almost daily during the cold and keeping the top mostly covered (central heat will suck humidity out quick) .. but i have setup a humidifier type system that works pretty well (seen them being sold to but looked way to simple to buy one hah) ...

Is the room really cold or something as a 10 gallon should be quite warm with almost any type of UTH. Are you sure you are measuring the temps accurately. What type of thing are you using? Is the UTH actually running right. Just seems odd that it won't heat such a small area. Definitely cover up as much of the screen lid as you can to hold in heat and humidity. Not sure what else to suggest other than auxillary heat lamp maybe or a quick switch to a small rubbermaid/sterlite which are just generally easier to manage. I'd definitely check that UTH though and make sure it's actually working to it's capacity.

Quick question...what do you use for substrate?
