types of smoke harmful?

hi all
my bp ( bishop) is doing really well, growing extremely fast it seems. today i had one of the best handling sessions: he was so relaxed and less jumpy.
i just have a quiick question, can incense smoke or ciggerettes effect the snake? not being directly blown into his cage ofcourse but jsut having it in the air.

Yes, just like kids. Second hand smoke of any kind is bad for them.

will it kill him? ive always had pets and never had any be effected by it. can it be somthing he can live with or do i need to activaly make sure its not around. i like to keep my house nice with a lil nag champa incense

As long as it's not in the same room with him, I guess it would be alright. I wouldn't recommend it though.

thats the best incense ever!!! as for the snake.... im sure it can't be good for it.

If you keep any sort of invert's, don't smoke around them. Nicotine is is a potent insecticide.
