I took my two oldest granddaughters Harriet 7 and nancy 5 to Bradgate Park. In Leicestershire, its about 25mins in the car from mine.
Bradgate Park was where King Henry the 8th resided and was married to lady Jane grey in 1553 for all of nine days.
Till she was beheaded by him.
The parkland is stunning and there's a ruin Of the old Hall, it must of been quite something in its hayday(picture is from the visitor centre)
There are 600 deer Red and Fallow deer that roam free, I managed to get some pics of the fallow deer
There are some serious ancient oaks along the path way
I even managed to find a bit of antler in the grasshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...bc7104fb38.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c474b28651.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9c433b873f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...04596eda9c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...67ab0112eb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8f23cb9e7c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e6c233625b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...dd34733041.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...01fc3f5725.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...fa280fff23.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c4fd701bd2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...762b24517c.jpg
