Is my black pastel gravid?
This is my first clutch, the incubator is ready, temps are good, now I'm waiting.
She is in a 75 gallon with foliage, branches, a large tub, shelter, heat lamp, 5 inches of bedding.
She has a notable point to her spine, has not eaten in about a month, but her back end just seems to be getting bigger.
She was paired to a Firefly Mohave 12/14/2019, locked again in Jan.
Most of the time I find her handing her back end off a branch, or coiled inverted on her cool end. She is almost always laying inverted, and has her tail tucked 50% of the time, the other 50% she is sprawled out. Does anyone have an idea or time frame for a lay?

Re: Is my black pastel gravid?
I have no idea how to do anything that has to do with snake breeding, but based on those pictures she sure looks pretty big, but you have to compare the size to the size she had before.
Re: Is my black pastel gravid?
She's always been massive, I honestly thought she was a Volta for a while but she hasn't eaten in like 2 or 3 months and despite this her lower end is getting very big.
Re: Is my black pastel gravid?
you could always get an ultra sound at a vet, I know some vet's do those for snakes. if she is gravid then congrats to the mom snake!
Re: Is my black pastel gravid?
Have you tried palpitating her to see if you can feel bumps?
(I don't think it should be called palpitating though, that's a bit misleading.)

Looks like you have eggs on the way. When was her last shed?
