Ending rattlesnake 'roundups'
As some of you know, I have been looking for the right group to support via donations, volunteering, letter-writing if needed, etc. to end the unspeakably cruel practice of rattlesnake roundups. Most of you know what the roundups are, so I won't repeat the horrible details. If you want information about what they entail, just ask and I can link you to info. And/or the group I am going to mention here has info on their website.
Anyway, after doing some research I've decided to make a monthly donation to The Rattlesnake Conservancy - they are directly involved with work to end the roundups. I'll link them here in case any of you might also be interested in supporting them.

They have good swag, too! I swear if I was a kid I would totally rock their rattlesnake hat. Then again, I am not a large person so maybe one will fit me, lol. In the meantime, I grabbed a couple of pretty speckled rattlesnake magnets.
