    Temp guns
Hey! So I have a herpstat 2 that I have hooked up to my CHE and UTH. I set the UTH to 97 degrees. I took the temp with one temp gun and it read in the 91 and then I took it with another one and it read 96???? So I turned it down to 94 and one read in the low 80s and then other read 90? So how do I know which one is correct??? It has been set to 94 since I got it yesterday and sometimes it would read 91 and sometimes it would even read below 80 and sometimes high 80s or low 90s. I don’t understand. Also, my CHE is weird too. I have that set to 85 and the ambient is 82. Sometimes the substrate in front of the hot hide reads 82-84 and sometimes in the mid-low 70s? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong to have such a widespread set of temps and why the temp guns can sometimes be 10 degrees apart or read close to the same?
