    Unseen BP
    Hey everyone,

So the last time I actually saw my BP out and roaming was March 05 when I offered a meal (that he didn’t take). I noticed he was starting to go into shed (getting dull). This makes sense as his last shed was late September/early October 2020. However, he hasn’t moved from his cool side at all. I know they are nocturnal creatures but might I also add that I’m a college student up late doing work most nights till 1-2. So I would assume I would seem him at some point to go warm up,etc. I know the shedding process can take up to a couple weeks... so I guess my question is when should I lift his hide and check in him or just wait it out?

It won't hurt anything to look in on him, but snakes in shed usually do prefer the cool side & he's probably just about ready to finish his shedding anyway. Your call. ;) I hope you've checked to see that his humidity is at a good level now, & you might give his home a misting anyway.

Ok thanks! I’ve been keeping an eye on it misting in morning and evening keeping it around upper 50s to 65%
