Okay great! Yeah, he's definitely a stunner I feel.

Whaddya think in terms of breeding potential for him? I have no clue how to tell a high end super pastel to a low end yet, all I know is he's incredibly bright yellow lol. Wondering what kinda female I should look into raising alongside him. (Separately that is)

    Yes, he's a handsome guy.

See my post in your other thread. You have a terrible setup for him right now. Temps are off, not enough hides, and you need to leave him alone.

Your focus should be on getting him established and eating and getting that tank in order. I wouldn't be worried about breeding just yet.

Please read the other post and try to focus questions on how to care for him. This forum is a great resource. We want to see you taking good care of him so he thrives and you have a great experience.

Thank you!!! Yeah he reminds me of like, a super bright bumblebee or a half ripe banana (the bug and the fruit not the morphs lol). The camera doesn't capture how vibrant he truly is!

Tell me about it RE camera's not accurately capturing reptile colors.

On top of which, I have to use a faster shutter speed for many of my snakes because they don't hold still, and that doesn't help. Plus, I am often holding and trying to take pictures at the same time. Or keeping a close eye on them while taking pics. So I have to be quick.

Hopefully you can outside pics once he settles in. Those are usually the most accurate.

I use my iPhone most of the time, which is pretty good, but looks different than when I use my DSLR.

Either way, your guy looks amazing.

Thank you!! and I agree 100%, there's gotta be something about cameras not being able to capture the true saturation of color these guys have. He seems to be relatively curious and slow (although the only time I held him was straight out of the bag), but the focus on my Galaxys camera is so restrictive, that it only ends up getting like 50% of him in HD.

He just ate his first small mouse in his new home, super quick actually, I managed to get some pretty cool shots. I had to settle on frozen small mice since the rat pups didn't show up until post-feed, now I don't know whether to feed a full rat pup, give him a second small mouse, or just let him rest.

    Awesome he ate for you!

Offer a rat pup on the next feed. That looks like a good meal for him, especially as a first meal as he's still settling in. BP's aren't really "stretchy" and shouldn't be fed anything wider than they are.

Generally speaking, two prey items aren't necessary or desired for BP's. Some won't take it, but also, they are really efficient creatures, and unless the meal is really small (which your mouse doesn't seem to be), no need to feed two.

Offer again in a week (and a rat pup if you want to switch him to rats).

Meal one down! 2 consecutive meals to go and you can start handling your guy a little.

Again, glad he ate. Keep us posted.

Long time no see!! Okay so college was kicking my butt a bit so I couldn't get around to really dedicating some time to make an update post, now that I'm smooth-sailing with my classes I can finally relax a bit.

Mush has been such a model snake, he's eaten for me every single time, I believe we're 5 or 6 rat pups deep at this point. Also, he just shed in one whole piece inside of his hide yesterday!! I have no clue how he managed to do that considering the day after his eyes went gray, I stopped feeding him, they then turned un-gray (incredibly odd I know) and then I figured okay I'll feed him because maybe one extra meal is what he needs to fulfill his first shed with me.

Low and behold he shed! I think he might've shed mid feed just due to how the timeline lined up.
