    eatting
3 weeks ago my 7 month old BP refused to eat for the first time. so i placed the mice back into the freezer and offered it again 1 week later. with out hesitation my Bp ate. now this past friday it was time for another feeding. she refused again. I am not worried, i just wonder if anyone else has had BP that would fast one week, then eat, and then fast again.

From my own experiance it depends alot on what it is that you are feeding your snake. My own BP Kaa, is very picky when it comes to either pre killed or frozen/thawed mice but if you put a live mouse in "Bam", he hits very quickly and has never turned one away. There is alot of debate concerning feeding live as opposed to P/K or F/t so that decision is up to you. I would caution against thawing and then re-freezing mice tho. Once thawed and then re-frozen ice crystals form in the flesh causing a breakdown in tissue which can result in, shall we say, gross, mushy, partly broken down mouse. In this instance it is the same reason that we are told never to thaw and re-freeze meat ourselves.
