I went out to get my groceries, saw an outdoor cat dash away, and discovered it had chewed through the loaf of bread. Out of all the things, including chicken, it went for the bread...

Aw, I would have given him lunch & a drink of water for sure, & then relocated him some place safer. Why don't I ever find snakes on MY porch? :( I'm jealous...:D
