Other than price I don't think there's much of a difference. I have glass enclosures from Zoomed, Exo Terra, and Zilla, and I can't tell the difference other than a few design differences and how much each one cost. Quality wise I haven't had any issues with any of them.

I don’t know what size you are getting, but my large Exo Terra cost me about the same as an Animal Plastics 4 footer. Had I known that at the time I would have bought the AP.

But I will say as far a glass goes, I really love the front door models. However, plastic is superior, especially for the long term.

I have both. I like Zilla for the smaller tanks, they have a 5.5 gallon which I love to use for my snakes when they were too small for a 10 gallon but too big for the 12" tank. Most brands don't carry the 5.5 gallon. Also, price wise I find Zilla tanks more affordable. They are on sale a lot of times at Pet Supplies Plus. One thing I don't like are the mesh lids. If they break, you will have a hard time finding a replacement.

I also have a Reptihabitat and Exo Terra. More or less the same, but Reptihabitat has extras, including a predrilled holes to use the tank for installing pipes for water (ie turtle), and they have bigger sizes than Exo Terra.

But for snakes that don't bask, like a bp, anything bigger than a 40 gallon breeder, you are better off picking up a PVC enclosure. It's bigger for less money.
