    Easy to forget that venom is essentially a "cocktail" of digestive enzymes. The "bonus" for the snake is that it incapacitates & kills the prey, without the snake needing to give chase or risk bodily injury as when trying to physically subdue it. Safety goggles are essential when keeping a "spitting" cobra.

    this just makes the new term danger sprinkler even better. lol, hopefully they have a antidote for the venom or some way to prevent bad things from happening that isn't causing them to go extinct. some people think that's the only solution to things.

    The best "antidote" is never keeping snakes if you aren't trained & experienced enough to do so safely & legally. If you don't respect "nature", she'll remind you. ;)
