How to set up climbing bar/branch in PVC enclosure

I'm setting up a new 4' x 2' x 18" PVC enclosure for my BP right now and I really want to add a branch or some kind of elevated bar for my BP to climb since he loves climbing and perching in high places. I was wondering how you all secure climbing branches in the enclosure so that they won't fall but can still be removed if needed for cleaning. Please share photos if you have set ups with branches or bars for climbing!

I've used both corner brackets and 3D printed perch holders from Specialty Enclosure Designs. It's important to make sure the perch can't spin while the animal is using it. Was actually listening to an episode of Morelia Python Radio last night where someone mentioned a snake taking a spill off the rotating perch and suffering some spinal trauma. The SED perch holders have a "key" on one end that prevents the perch from rotating, you just need to cut a notch in the perch for it. For my corner bracket perch holders I have thick twine wrapped around the perch, knotted and zip tied at one or both ends to fit in a notch on the brackets. This may or may not be visible in the image in the thread above.

Can be as simple or elaborate as you'd like. Others on her have also made some neat perching/climbing options using pvc pipes and couplings to build a small jungle gym of sorts with interesting results.

I've made very simple perches from PVC piping. Super easy and cheap.

Here's a photo of what we use for our ETB group. Just PVC pipe portion, cut in 1/2 and then bonded to the side.

How did you attach the perches to the enclosure? I'm looking for a solution that ensures the perch won't fall while it is still removable for cleaning and would love to see all the different ways people have tackled this.

Thank you for sharing, it's helpful to see how you set this up! What kind of glue did you use to attach the PVC holder to the side of the enclosure?

You should use a bonding cement - basically bonds the PVC together....if the pipe portion is ABS, you can use a transition bonding cement.

Try searching for "round brackets for closet rods"- some of these might work? Installation should be fairly easy- you can drill screw holes in the PVC for the brackets, &-or use some adhesive for secure bonding.
