She bit the rack and i saw a tooth fly out of her mouth.
So my big female has a WILD feeding response, so wild that she sometimes gets a bit too excited. Tonight she missed the rat, took a hard left and decided to latch on to my rack. When she pulled away from the shelf she bit i saw (and heard) a tooth snap out of her mouth. Here is my question, i am well aware of the fact that ball python can and will lose teeth occasionally. My worry here is that she may have jammed part of the tooth up into her gum by biting such a hard surface. Can this happen? Should i be on the lookiut for the next couple weeks? Or am i just psyching myself out?
