    AP sliding door locks
About 6 months ago I picked up a used t10 with sliding plexy/acrylic doors. I quarantined it for a few months and have had it in service for the last few months as temporary housing till the A25's arrive. Recently one of the retics has figured out how to open the door and gotten out the past few nights. Does anyone have close up pictures of the locks they use or know what style of locks to search for on amazon?

Yikes, I can't help you with that question, but that sure gives a new image of "Santa" coming down the chimney tonight... You must be having "fun".

Lol typically he is pretty good. The first night I found him hanging off a deer head a few feet from his enclosure. The next night he was found across the room trying to get to some rodents. Even though he was actively hunting I could just scoop him up. Till I can get locks for the AP he is back into his old boaphile with locks that was sitting empty.

    Here you go.....

This is from my T10. That must be a powerful creature to move those heavy doors!

Thank you ckuhnoo3! Most of the locks styles I was finding were either cam, plunge, or ratcheting. After reverse image searching your picture it appears "cabinet sliding glass lock" are good search terms.

He is it a little over 5' but I assume this is an older style of enclosure as the doors are plexy/acrylic instead of glass which makes them a lot less heavy.

To the best of my knowledge, AP doesn’t offer sliding acrylic doors. Must have been a change from the standard doors by the original owner of the enclosure. Good luck with getting it secured. Retics are certainly some crafty and determined critters to say the least

If the door isn't drilled for the AP lock just get the cheap ratcheting type.

You can also call AP and order their locks direct. Assuming you have two circular holes on the doors overlapping each other, you can put the AP locks on there. I've always had a great experience whenever I call them and speak to Ali.

Mine is predrilled for the locks, they are just missing. I didn't want to bother with calling AP because its the holiday season so who knows when they are working and when the parts will even ship out. Amazon can have it here in a few days plus it was under $10 vs the $20 from AP.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7c94c452f3.jpg
