    Viper boas?
Only recently heard of the species and I'm curious as to why it isn't more popular. One would think a smaller than average boa (3 feet at the maximum) that has the looks of a death adder would garner more interest. From what I've researched they need high humidity and can be picky as they tend to eat non-rodent prey in the wild, but hognoses are popular and have the latter issue as well so, do they not breed readily or is it importing limitations/lack of demand to bother establishing stateside populations?

Perhaps because they were mostly wild-caught fairly recently and never really caught on because of the difficulties in acclimating them, but it seems like people are breeding them now. I researched them back when I was still considering what kind of boa to get but they didn't really attract me like the rosy boa did. And rosies were hard to find at the time so I ended up with a KSB.
