    Late hatching
    Hello everyone!

In the first week of August I got a clutch from my lesser x lesser pastell pairing.
About 1 week after that I had to leave home and do some travel with work, during my time away my father occasionally checked in on my animals and eggs.
About 3 weeks ago he reported that the incubator was running cold and that he had adjusted the temperature to the correct range.

So time goes by and I arrive home around day 55, by this time i was expecting the eggs to sweat and dimple(maybe even pip) but as of yet I have not seen much of that (day 59).
I don't know for how long the temperature was low but from what I can see the eggs are not ready to hatch yet.

Does any one here have experience with late hatchers?
I've read that if incubated at lower temperatures than the 88-92 f range it might propone the hatch date with as much as 10-15 days.
Right now I'm waiting for the eggs to dimple, but I'm considering cutting one egg on day 65 if no one has piped by then to see what going on.

From what I can see by candling the eggs there's activity in 2 eggs (movement). The remaining 5 eggs i can't really see much going on.
All eggs look healthy, visible vein network, no mold or smell.

Leave them alone. If you cut wait until one has pipped first.

The last clutch of BP's I incubated was at 86*F and it took them 65 days until the first one pipped.

    Status update
    Hello,

Two of the eggs pipped today, so I took the liberty of cutting the rest of the clutch(day 62).
The eggs never started to dimple, assuming that the substrate may have been too wet.
    Results seems to be :
    x3 - Lucys
    x2 - Lesser
    x2 - Normal

I'll get a closer look at them later on, hoping they'll leave their eggs soon.
