Ball python keeps peeing and pooping in the same hard-to-clean spot?

I have this plastic rock looking cave that I use as her warm hide, and she loves it to pieces lol. But especially lately I've noticed she only pees and poops inside of it. Problem is that cave has a small lip of plastic that pokes inward inside the cave and EVERY TIME she somehow managed to position herself to go inside that small area of space that is almost impossible to completely clean without taking it outside and using the power mode on my hose lol. Is there any way I could either clean it easier or keep her from being able to "go" there? It wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't such a pain to take out and reposition in her cage, mostly because I have other decor that rest on or near it so everything pretty much gets moved whenever she does this.

Snakes just go where they wanna go...sounds like she feels safe in there too, so maybe that's why she prefers it? More options (hides) might help?

Most snakes "go" under their hides. I would replace it with something easier to clean.

Perhaps fill the gap with silicone?

Or yes, replace it. I like these hides. They're really easy to clean. I cover them with fake foliage to hide them a bit.
