    Animal Plastics T10 vs. T12
Hello - first I wanted to thank everyone who contributes to this forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here and I am very grateful to have access. So I ordered a T10 from AP last week for my BP after seeing all the positive feedback on the Forum. AP said I have a some time to make changes to my order if needed and I am curious about the T12. My question is how come there is no discussion about the T12 in the forum? Mostly all about the T8/10. I know he does not need the extra height, but it might be a nice to have. I realize it is $100+ more, but is price the only difference or is there more to it? Like difficulty regulating temperature and humidity control? May require a larger HRP, which is more $$. Just looking for advise so I can make a good decision.

    Have a great night!

    Mr. Misha
Have both and the honestly, the T12 is pretty massive and takes up a good amount of room, especially if it's on a stand. I got it 2nd hand at half the price so I couldn't pass it up. However, I'd probably wouldn't purchase it brand new. Now, is it great to have the height? Yea, kinda fun. But most of the time, my BPs don't really utilize it. Just makes it MUCH easier to clean. With that said, T10 is pretty to clean as well.

Running the same watt RHPs in both and they seem to keep the temps just fine. I would assume that it does take the RHPs longer to initially warm it up but if you're running a proportional thermostat, it kicks in whenever it needs to.

T12 is on the right, T10 is bottom left and T8 is top left.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9ab8a4ebb7.jpg
