Why is my ball python climbing the glass?
My BP have been climbing the side of the glass like crazy, this only happens at night. She is an adult female. I keep her in a 120 gallon tank but seems like that she really wants to get out. What is wrong?

Have you just put her in a new tank on the last couple of days ?? A new home sometimes has them exploring every nook and cranny for a way out ..
Second thought is that it may be too warm and it’s trying to get out - it happened to one of mine a few years ago when one of stats failed and left the heat on permanently

When was the last time she ate?
What size prey are you feeding?
The ambient temp is about 77, have the heat mat set on 90. I think she ate 2 weeks ago, don’t want to feed her again cause she is not pooping. She is on small rats.

She may be hungry. Depending on her size she may be ready for mediums.
You also don't have to wait for her to poop to feed. She'll poop when she's ready, she knows how.

Have you checked the surface temps ( especially under the warm hide ) with a digital temp gun or a digital thermometer with a wired probe ??
The ‘settings knob’ on a stat is just there as a guide - you check the temperature and adjust accordingly - you can’t assume that the heat is anything like what the stat dial says .

A 120 gal. tank is pretty large for a BP...and it's location matters too. Snakes prefer privacy, without a lot of nearby activity. Sometimes covering (& insulating) the sides,
back, part of the bottom & maybe even the lower part of the front may help reduce their insecurity. You can try putting a beach towel over half the tank to see if that helps?
She have two hides, and some Decorations in her tank, she only do that at night, she does hide during the day.i have a temp hun and the hot spot reads 90. Maybe she is just hungry. I want to send a pic but I don’t know how?

It's quite normal for them to roam around at night, if all husbandry is intact I wouldn't worry about it.
