2020 clutch just shed out, colors seem a little different
Paring was albino black pastel to black pastel het albino. This was a first time breeding for the dad (albino black pastel) and second time breeding of the mom (black pastel het albino). The first clutch she produced she was paired to albino black pastel pinstripe. She produced 3 albino black pins, 1 albino black pastel, 2 black pin het albino and 1 pinstripe het albino. None of them were this dark.
The albino black pastel was the male used in this pairing (son bred back to mom).
I have never seen black pastel babies in person but these seem different to me for some reason. Wondering if mom had something recessive that she gave to son.

Anyone with experience please let me know what you think. Photos were taken with a samsung so phone, natural sunlight, no filters.

    First off, stunning clutch!

My first thoughts are Yellowbelly and/or Orange Dream in the mix. I'm no expert by a long shot, but the one in the middle bottom really reminds me of my OD YB Cinnamon. Not the same mix as a black pastel, but I see similarities. That top one has really interesting pattern reduction and black dark contrast. I'm interested in hearing what experts think.

    Nice clutch!

Great looking clutch. I think you're just looking at nice black pastels with great contrast. The only frame of reference you have from this pairing is Mom, and since her last clutch didn't produce any black pastels that weren't either albino or had pin in them, there is no comparison. Congrats!

I’m far from an expert but the darker two are simply gorgeous. Almost a Ghi effect. Congratulations beautiful clutch!
