This is actually my first time being on a forum dedicated to a species that I've been interested in for a while! My name is Ari. I recently got a ball python morph, a champagne mojave ball python I believe? She's a real sweetheart, her name is Nakina. I've been able to enrich and get her everything she needs. A good heat mat, a jumpstart thermostat, a humid box, and a warm hide and cool hide. This same snake also just loves everyone she meets; even my mom. She loves being around my mom. She pokes her head out whenever my mom is in the room. She's also really gentle with me. I have some mental illnesses, and she actually knows when I need her. She'd come out and look at me and then slowly try to get out so she could be in my hands. I've never felt such a loving energy from her. My therapist is registering her as a ESA (emotional service animal).
But yeah, it feels great to be here! I can't wait to get to know some of you and at some point I'll post some pictures of her.
