    Retic Enclosure Decoration Ideas
Just purchased a 48”x24”x12” enclosure for my juvenile
retic. She’ll only be in this until she’s about a year or so old, but I’m not sure what kind of decorations I should use for this.

Any suggestions? I’d like to do some DIY decorations if possible, unless anyone has a
good source for thing she wouldn’t end up destroying.

Water bowl and two hides. Order your 8' enclosure now, females can get ten feet after their first year, unless this is a high percentage SD.

Just plan on whatever you put in there will possibly get destroyed and will work best if it's easy to remove and easy to clean.
We personally keep our retics in fairly sparse caging, hide, water bowl and when smaller, soaking tubs but that's it.

User Gio on here has posted some elaborate cage set ups with branches, fake plants, etc that look amazing and naturalistic if that's the route you want to go.
If you go that route, my best suggestion is to keep the stuff as elevated as possible off the floor so it doesn't get covered in pee XD

This was the set up I used for my sd female hatchling. I mounted the rock ledges with aquarium silicone. And used one as basking spot set at 87. The only issue is the more stuff you put in, the more stuff they grab onto when try to take them out. She hit the 5ft mark at less than 1000 grams and about 14 months of age.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...37b58aa85e.jpg
