Tips for switching females to frozen thawed after laying
Im looking for any advice on switching one of my live feeder only females to FT. All of my other snakes eat frozen thawed asf's that i get from a local breeder. This girl only eats live standards. Ideally I'd like her to go to asfs. But last year I took a bad bite when I reached in to stop a bite on her. So I'd be happy with FT anything.
After removing the eggs female was cleaned. Moved from her tank to a new shelf in my rack.I added new substrate and a different water dish. Should I try and offer her a asf for a few weeks before going to a standard rat? Or start her back on the standard rats she is used to and then transition to asf.
Any input is appreciated.

I'm interested to see the advise on this one. I have a Mojave female who just laid eggs today. We acquired her while gravid so she has not eaten while in our possession. Everything has been cleaned/changed. The prior owner only feed live but we would like to switch her over to F/T like all our other balls.

Simply be consistent and patient.
I'm stoked after 2 years of live feeding only, she has taken 3 FT asf rats in the last 2 weeks. I'm praying she continues as this makes life easier for the both of us.

Your set. Most (99.999999%) BPs love ASF. I will throw a rat or hatchling in my mix just so "if" something happens they won't mind the change. But since your just started with ASF, I wouldn't feed anything else for a bit.
Now, if you ever get to OC, Maryland an want an ASF colony (for free) I can hook you up, a young colony 1/3.
Good luck!
