    T8 piping in humidity
I'm getting low humidity in my t8 enclosure I set up in the winter. I need to get some humidity piped in there but my experiences with cutting holes through enclosures have normally resulted in a snake attempting to escape up the humidifier.
Just looking for brain storming ideas before I start if there was a write up I missed I apologise I tried to search for one using the search bar.

Waiting to hear any responses you might get. I normally just spray down the enclosure every 2 days or so (also a T8). Been thinking myself of setting up one of those humidifiers/misters with a sensor... so as to have everything automated.

Put a vent cover over the hole you cut for the humidifier. Hardware store sells round ones in different sizes. Heating an air guys could tell you who sells/makes what ever size you need.

    Good luck!

I use a substrate that holds humidity. Coco Husk, coco fiber, cyprus etc. A humid hide would also work but they take up space. I use Coco husk in my T8, and I mist the substrate when the snake is in shed. I would try that before cutting or drilling more holes in the enclosure. I am in WI so it getspretty dry up here in winter.

Always curious of how people attaching it. You are talking about just putting mesh over the hole correct? Or is this some kind of insert I'm not aware of and can I get a picture
