    Ooo
    Too clam?
My BP is acting weird, I got her 2 mouth ago and everything was fine, but after she shedded, she became a lot more clam. She would unusually move around like crazy when I handled her before but right now she just sit in my hand and do noting. Is she going to be ok?

A BP that "moves around like crazy" is actually stressed, uncomfortable with you & trying to get away. A BP that sits still is actually calmer & accepting you.

Understand that the only thing that normally picks up a snake in nature is a predator about to EAT them...it's normal for a snake to fear us until they learn they're safe.

It's actually best not to handle a new snake until it has fed easily for you about 3 times at normal intervals, as a fearful snake may refuse to eat, & that's truly no fun to deal with...it also may harm their health.

Gold! Although we tend to handle ours a alot sooner. Make sure your husbandry is on point. With these guys it’s everything. As said a roaming bp is normally a stressed one. If you got a big cage. Clutter it up. Obviously get a couple of hides, heat source with a thermostat. As long as that’s on point it will be fine. Do your homework. It also needs a cool side.

In this his case after you get all that down. As stated leave it alone as suggested

Also it’s normal for them to “clam”. When we get a new one. We like to lay flat on the bed. We put them on our stomachs. After about 5 mins. They start to move. They are very head shy. They are prey as stated. But they tend to come out of there shell soon. Out of 5 bp’s we only have one pet rock! She was a rescue.

Same here, but it's different when you have enough experience to cope with whatever happens. With experience, we 'read' our snakes better anyway. ;)
