Tap water is normally fine for snakes, unless your's is heavily treated...do you taste chemicals in it? Do NOT use distilled water for snakes ever. Bottled is ok, though many times bottled water just came from someone's tap, & bottle water has often been shown to contain tiny bits of plastic from the bottling process- it won't matter as much to us, but we're a lot bigger than a snake. I use tap water...

I raise my own mice too, but I'm not sure what you're asking on that...:confusd:

No, why would you? Mice need to have constant access to food & water fyi.

No need to add any vitamin powders like with some lizards or other exotics.

Tap water should be fine, unless you have a local issue. If you're worried pick up some repti-safe.

If you can drink your tap water, so can your snake.

As for waiting a day with the mice, no need.

    Re "extra toppings" on food-
I don't add vitamins per se to my rodent's chow (no need, it's already balanced & good quality), but I do supplement their nutrition: things like bits of kale for vitamins
...and for best "end-user" results (ie. your snake), the mice should have digested these from the day prior to being fed off to your snakes. Is what you were asking?
