Terrarium liner that is NOT carpet?

Does anyone have recommendations for something I can line the bottom of my KSB’s tank with other than reptile carpet? This is to be under his substrate between substrate and glass so he doesn’t burn himself on UTH while burrowing. I’d like something that is easily washable because reptile carpet is NOT so I’ve just been fully replacing it when I clean his tank, and that is racking up in price. So if anyone has advice for a washable non fabric terrarium liner that I won’t have to replace monthly please let me know. Thanks everyone!

Just set your UTH at the correct temperature.

The UTH is already on a thermostat to control temp, the concern is more with fossorial snakes that they will stay directly on top of the heat source and will eventually get burned. Snakes don’t have the sense to be able to know that staying on a hot object will eventually burn them, and since my KSB spends most of his time underground on the heat source there needs to be something between him and it.

If your hot spot is set 93-95 for a Kenyan sand boa he will be fine. He will know when he gets warm enough and move off of the heat mat to the other side of the tank

If you have a reliable thermostat there is no need for a liner and if your thermostat fails a liner will not prevent a burn.
