    New BP in shed
Hey all! I just got my first bp, she’s a big adult female. She arrived in full on blue, so I set her up in her v70 and let her be, but I’ve misted twice now just to make sure she’s got enough humidity, as she didn’t have much during shipping.

Any tips on how to help her shed out while also keeping her stress low, as I just got her?

Make sure the cage is nice and cluttered and I would cover the sides to help her feel more secure. She is still a couple days out from shedding so she does have a little bit of time to adjust. Also don't handle her and I would keep movement around her to a minimum. You should be fine. Just make sure to keep the humidity up.

    Do you have a hydrometer?

Yes, I have a large black plastic hide that she hasn’t used at all but it makes the space smaller. I do, I’ll put it in the tub.
