    BP whistling
My BP has been whistling, I originally thought it was a stuck scale on her nose and it came off from her most recent shed. The issue is the whistling continued and I don’t see anything on her nose, I haven’t seen any mucus on her nose, eyes, or mouth. Any advice or help?

Im not sure, I got her at a repticon a year ago and she just looks like the ones you’d get at petsmart. She’s 28 inches long and 309g If that helps at all

You mention "on" her nose, but they shed the outer-inside part of their nostrils, so if some skin was stuck on the outside of her nose, there might be something INside...did you check? Either for old skin or substrate, either can cause whistling. What's the humidity? Too little, & skin around nostrils, eyes, chin & tail tips tend to get stuck. ;)

I’ve done my best to check her nose and it had seemed like the stuck part came off with her last shed. Whenever I think she’s close to shedding I also up the humidity quite a bit

Ok I asked because black pastels can sometimes "whistle" due to the shape of their face, especially if they're carrying the gene that causes duck billing in the super form.

I’m unsure what you mean, can you elaborate a bit more along those lines? I’ve been thinking it could be her just being small so her nose can whistle but I wasn’t thinking about her morph or genetics leading to it.

I know about stuff blocking her nose so I’ve checked repeatedly and nothing
