    How to secure tub lid?
Hiya, I just bought a 113qt Hefty tub for one of my adult BPs and im curious if there's a way to make the lid more secure? It has latches on all four sides but the latches on the long sides are in the middle and the space between the edge of the tub and the latch is a little loose. Definitely don't want her escaping.. and I've already started drilling holes so it's no longer returnable lol. Thanks!

    Is it this one? https://www.target.com/p/hefty-113qt...x/-/A-53598602

I'm fairly certain it does not lift enough for escaping, but if you happened to have a particularly loose one, I'd drill a hole through the edge on the loose sections and secure with a carabiner style clip.

You're drilling holes so, nut an bolt, clevis pin, clamp, bungee cord or padlock. A bent nail would work so take a look in your junk drawer.
    Good luck!

I just use strong alligator clips from the hardware store. One each corner has always worked for me. Plus they go on and off quick and easy.
