Well, I did the thing. Introducing my first clutch.
    Hi all,

I'm super excited to finally get to share this. This pairing was my Male Banana Enchi Orange Ghost to a friends Pastel Mojave Spider Orange Ghost. She laid 7 eggs that looks good, one went bad right away and we lost one due to what appears to be a developmental problem, but below are my first 5 snakes I have ever produced.

I want to say thank you to a lot of people on here, but I can't name them all. There is a plethora of information available on here if you hunt around, and even following some of the opinions of the successful professional and hobbyist breeders on here is a good thing.

I got the watch the little one in the upper right corner pip. I just happened to be drinking a beer and looked into the incubator and saw that egg going crazy! Looked like Naruto learning the Rasengan kind of crazy movement, and the the just BURST out of the egg, a full 3" and looked around and yawned and stretched. It's in my top 5 favorite moments of my life. That one will be staying.

All in all I am pleased with all the decisions I have made to this point. I am bringing in new genes again this year and am going to continue forward doing what I want to do and collecting what I like, but I've got some big plans for some of the snakes I've picked up recently. :)

Thanks again for being here, forum.

They are sooo adorable! Congratulations on your babies.

I keep looking at the trying to figure out which one is my favourite and can’t even narrow it down, they’re all so gorgeous and shiny. They almost look like desserts: pancakes, banana spilt, caramel flavoured something something ... is this getting too weird.

Anyways I’d love seeing more pictures of them if/when you take any.

Once they've had first shed and are eating I will get high quality pictures of all of them taken. At this time, one is staying here and one is being held back by the owner of the female snake. The female snake is staying here to be bred again, probably by the same male next season. She's already back up and past her pre-pairing weight and continuing to grow. She could easily do 1800-2000g this fall.

I am thrilled with this outcome, and I couldn't be happier. I've got another gravid female to go, and I own 100% of that clutch, so am hopeful it does well too.

Right now am eyeballing a camera, as my Cell Phone Camera sucks and I want to take good pictures.

    Best and thanks,

    Paul
