Blue eyed leucistic (super butter) X ?
    Hi everyone .

This is my first post on the forum, thank you all in advance for your help.

I am planning to get a juvenile female to breed with my Blue Eyed leucistic (super butter) in the next coming years. I have heard that if I get another blue eyed leucistic there are chances that hatchlings will have issues ... Is that true ? What morph would you recommend to breed with my super butter ? I want to get leucistic hatchlings, should I breed it with a butter instead to avoid genetic issues ?

    Thanks again

You could breed with a bamboo or something else in the BEL complex. I don't know about the other issues, as I am new to this myself.

    Thanks.

The issues I have seen on YouTube videos are ball pythons with weird nose and jaw, flat tail ...

Do you think it is a good idea to breed two BEL together ?

You just want to avoid lesser/butter to not have the potential eye deformities.

    Thanks for your advice.

Could you please clarify what do you mean by "lesser/butter" ? You mean BEL (Lesser X butter) ? Or you mean that I shouldn't breed my BEL (butter X butter) with a lesser or a butter ball python ?

If it were me, I'd breed it to a super mojave (bel) to produce BELs and nothing else, but if you want some variety just get a mojave with another gene. It would also work with any of the bel complex animals. Just avoid using butter or lesser, that way you have less chance to get a deformity.

Just remember that whatever you breed the super lesser to will produce combos with lesser for sure in the mix

It is true Super Lesser and Super Butter (same genes different lines) tend to produced what is referred to as bug eyes animals.

So if you want to make more BEL I would suggest Mojave or Super Mojave.

Thank you so much , but if I breed him with a super Mojave , will the hatchlings have a dark head ?
