Whee! More pretty boy pictures! I still can't believe how abso-friggin-lutely gorgeous he is. Wonderful job helping him recover Jo and Mike.

Ruari is now 6' 4" and quite a girthy boy. Here are a couple pics at his Auntie Jo and Uncle Mike's house :)

LOL wish I could ditch the double chin thing though! I just can't help but grin and laugh when I handle that silly big boy snake. He's such a handful! Well over a foot longer than I am tall! He'll bash around all over me then suddenly he'll just relax and get comfy in whatever position he wants or head over to that table where he likes to view his world (and watch sports) from. He does seem to prefer Mike to handle him but I think that's just because Mike is so relaxed and super confident in handling Rauri.

For all that snake has been through he's got the most amazing personality. Are columbians known for their sort of big goofy personalities? Not much ever causes Rauri any concern and his temperment is quite perfect other than a bit more jumpy around feeding day and during sheds but that's to be expected.

Other than their wierd head swing "let me grab that as we go by" thing that is LOL.

I've known a few big goofy boas. All boas seem to have that head swing thing.. my big dumerils does it too.. in fact she was wrapping around the vet's neck today as he was feeling for anything weird in her lungs. Silly girl.
