    Wrinkles = Malnourishment?
    I had read a couple weeks ago (I don't remember where at, but it was online) that lateral wrinkles on the python's skin can equate to lack of food or water. Of course, this just gave me something new to obsessively worry about, and while holding Mr. Bojangles today, I noticed such wrinkles. Of course, I would think that they would be normal where the snake bends and twists, and the skin folds to compensate for the shape-change, but I thought I'd ask to make sure.

    Here is a picture. I'm talking about the folds right at my ring-finger's knuckle:

    He's at 1 mouse every 4 to 5 days, but I've never seen him drink the water from his dish (probably something that happens more at night, anyway). Any input would be greatly appreciated!

    He looks fine to me,the wrinkles on your snake are natural. My chubbier snakes have those......just the way some people have fat rolls.

    The only time i would be worried is with a very very thin snake that has baggy folds that you can almost pinch.Your snake looks nice and healthy.

    those are perfectly normal. that's like if you bent over forwards and you could see the folds of skin on your stomach.

    Yeah, he looks fine! He's nice and full. Check out a bad pet store and you'll see a BP in poor health. It will look almost deflated. :(

    Actually, I think you're feeding him too often. Not too much, but too often. 7-9 days is better, their system needs a little break in between eating.
