My first time ever setting up an enclosure LOL

I know i know this was more for me then it was for the snake but hes happy lol

Very attractive. Just keep in mind that those tree-bark tunnels look cool as furnishings but don't offer enough closed-in feeling of security for some snakes to eat well,
so if you have a problem with feeding, consider adding a more private hide (if there isn't one in there already some place?) & actually there should be at least 2 hides,
one on the warm side & one on the cool side.

i try to put some fake plants in front of the hide to block the light but he’s always squashing them lol. And the buddha statue is actually something i had that i turned into a hide thats his cool side, i do want to change that wood hide i was thinking of using that plastic hide i always see everyone use. Oh and i have a background cling on the back to block the other end of the wood hide. Still learning but im probably not doing the wood hide again

Do you happen to know about lavender or albino ball python morphs??

Looks great! Very naturalistic.

I'm not saying you shouldn't use those tree-bark tunnels...they look good & are sturdy for snakes to crawl on. I'm only saying that they don't quite measure up on their
own for the kind of privacy your BP may need to feel safe & eat well. As you're doing, you can add to it also; might give more privacy if turned sideways too...I'm quite
sure that I wouldn't feel "private" either with a wall missing on my bedroom ;)...snakes want hides with doorways just big enough for them to go in & out (w/ a meal),
not something that we can look right into easily.

I use a few of those tree-tunnels in my snake's homes too, but I use them as a "front porch" for their secure black hide directly behind it. I like the Buddha too, btw...

Be careful as your snake grows, she will still try to get inside the Buddha, and I've known of snakes that have gotten stuck inside and the owner had to cut open the figurine with the snake stuck inside.

Great point. I've seen a few too many horror stories where snakes got stuck in Buddhas, skulls, crock heads, etc....
If it's made to be a decoration it shouldn't be used as a hide. Just not worth the risk.

I hadn't realized there was anything to "get inside of" or I'd have said the same thing...is it hollow underneath? If that's the issue, it could be filled in to make it safe. I've filled holes in furnishings with corks glued in place with silicone sealant (as used for aquariums)...once it dries completely, it's safe (non-toxic)...but make sure it's dry so you don't accidentally expose your snake to the acrid fumes that off-gas.

Yea i took that into consideration and stuffed the buddha and put a 6inch pvc pipe under it so it could get in and out. It would be horrible for the snake to get stuck
