    Tub set up
    Hello again!

I am setting up a new enclosure for my adult male ball python who is arriving shortly. I ordered this tub (https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/s...6058p.html#srp ) to pick up tomorrow as I live in a cold and dry part of Canada and I know I will struggle with humidity in a tank. I will be following the tub set up guidelines pinned to the page but I wanted to confirm that this is suitable and that the dimensions are okay, it's
35"L x 18- 3/4"Wx7"H. I plan to use an eco-earth, aspen mixture for the substrate.

    Thanks!

I’d recommend something with more height, but that will do fine as well.

If kept in a tub, a daily spray will do fine for humidity, or adding sphagnum moss will do the trick great. I live in Canada too and I used aspen when I kept mine in a tub, worked great. Humidity was at about 70-80. However I kept a damp towel inside the enclosure rather than adding sphagnum moss or regular spraying.

Okay thank you! I basically referred to the measurements mentioned in the pinned shopping list/care guide for the tub.
