What do stuck eye caps look like?
BP shed the other day & after he sheds I always check it to make sure it’s all come off. So, I went through it all and could only find one eye cap I don’t know if I’d missed the other one or not whilst I was cleaning out the viv.
Just in case there is a stuck eye cap could someone please tell or show me what they look like?

You'd know if it you saw it. It looks like skin that hasn't come off the eye. But you can post a picture if you want to be sure.

Sometimes it's hard to tell, they just look more cloudy than they should. Other times, if the snake has poor hydration (which is usually why the eye caps stuck in the
first place) they can have indentations or crinkled areas (that look a bit like crazing on a china plate).
