Help me name my Boa
I have owned him just over 6 months and he will be a year old on May 6th and I haven't named him. I have a couple ideas but nothing has stuck so I am asking for suggestions. He is a Pastel, hypo (poss super hypo), jungle 100% Het Albino.
My first choice is Stripe for kind of obvious reasons and he reminds me of Stripe from the movie Gremlins.
Second is Richard because he can be kind of a D**k (never bites or strikes just doesn't like being bothered)
Again open to suggestions.

That's my wife's birthday! You could call him Sam after her.

That's my old man's bday too... Since we've had multiple falling outs...
My vote is Richard Cranium.

Years back I adopted a serial-biter (yearling BCI) after she was passed from home to home, perfecting her bite techniques  during her first year of life. In my heart
I KNEW she was just a scared defensive baby trying to survive, so to remind myself of that, as well as to bring smiles to all the others who eventually met her, I named
her "Snookems" (as in, "baby Snookums") & pictured her in a bonnet & baby carriage, which made me laugh at all her evil hisses. With my patience she out-grew her
attitude in under 2 mos. & never bit me, but her name worked like a charm every time she met people...they giggled.
Snakes are scary to many people, & big snakes are even scarier. If you can lighten the tension so people laugh, they're more accepting of snakes- that's why I cringe
when people give negative-sounding names to their snakes, names that invoke images of monsters & death, for example. Snakes need WAY more friends & good names
can actually help. ;)
I can't tell you off-hand what to name this snake (might get back to you though?) but I hope you'll keep this in mind & choose a name that's humorous rather than dark.
There's no rush, I promise he'll NEVER come when you call him...

I almost put that in the original post. I haven't named him because he doesn't come when you call him

BTW, I didn't see the movie Gremlins & have no opinion about naming him Stripe. It's all up to you, what name you like & that fits him.

No problem sir. Obviously since I have not named him in over 6 months I am not set on anything. And I am sure someone has a better name than I thought of. Not in a rush.

Re: Help me name my Boa
Your boa is boss! I'd name him Bolo after the villain in the 1973 Bruce Lee martial arts movie 'Enter the Dragon'. :)
