    BCI Baby- Orange Cloaca?
    Hello All!

I have been lurking around for a while and have found many of the posts to be very helpful. But this time I have a question that I haven't found much prior info on.
I recently adopted a new baby boa, and I noticed the scale color of his vent looks orange, as opposed to the rest of his body. It really does not look swollen, or anything like that. I tried searching for pics to see if this is just normal for babies, as I haven't seen it before, but there's not much out there. He's in great shape and came from a reputable breeder, who said it was normal. But I tend to be a little OCD with my babies and I'm a worrywort, so I just wanted to check with you all.
My only other experience is with an adult female ball python and her cloacal area matches the rest of her belly pattern. I haven't been able to find much on this. Is this just normal for some baby boas? Thank you.

I have attached image links, as I couldn't figure out how to upload the pics in my post.

My normal BI had an orange vent as a baby, totally normal. I'm not sure what it looks like nowadays, but I imagine there's still some coloration. All my others are morphs, and I didn't really pay attention.

I seem to recall that's normal too, so not to worry.

Okay, thanks for the reassurance! I will stop staring at his butt now, lol!
