Banana ball scar on head 🤔
Hey guys, so I've noticed on the top of my banana balls head is like a pinky coloured scar (picture to follow). I bought these off of a breeder wanting to get rid of his setups and now I'm slightly worried about their previous care, he's only eaten once.

It's either the result of a bad shed or the result of head rubbing, so long it's clean, not read or oozing your BP will be fine, it's only cosmetic and it happens.

As far as feeding well without detail no one can tell, having the age and the size of the animal and knowing how it is kept (enclosure size, temps etc) as well as how often you have handle the animal, how and what you have been offering would help.

Looks like a well-healed "head rub"...a fairly common BP injury from pushing/rubbing on abrasive cage tops or furnishing. It happens even to the best of keepers when their snakes don't always agree to be captive, lol. In case you're wondering, those missing scales are unlikely to grow back, & there's nothing you should do, since it's healed over. You can always tell people that this is a "bald python"...:D
