    Help With Tub
I was thinking about upgrading and decorating a new tub with plants etc... , but wasnt sure of it was necessary since I have this one. I ordered the hides and they ended up being bigger than i thought so the snake has a little room in the hides.

    So I was wondering:

Is this tub big enough? Is there enough room or does it need more space?
    Are the hides too big?
Any tips on what I should change/add?

    Thanks. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6855f9b1d1.jpg

I'm guessing based on the probe cords that this tub isn't in a rack. If it were I'd suggest using newspaper as substrate because maintaining humidity usually isn't a problem, and give the snake only one hide. Mine are set up that way and they "turtle" the hide on and off the heat as needed.

I'm assuming that you aren't using a rack system... If you are then don't bother with this reply lol. But you want to make enough ground space for your snake to elongate. So I would recommend having a bigger tub to fit those hides. However, if the tub is proper size for your snake then I'd say to go with smaller hides. Whichever is convenient to switch out.

If you do decide to keep the hides and find that they are too large for your snake, you can stuff it with substrate, damp sphagnum moss, newspaper, tissue paper, ect, to fill in the extra space.

    hope this helps :)

As mentioned above, if those hides are a nice snug fit for your snake, then grab a larger tub. With some of my snakes, I'll also put the water bowl on top of one of the hides - it gives them a little more room to move around.
