    He pee'd!
Oh-my-gosh, I'm so excited. I went to check the temps and there was a big wet spot under his hide. I was really begining to wonder if it was normal for them to go 4 days with out pee-ing. I'm so releived (yeah yeah, I know, I'm sure you all rolling your eye's at the overly paranoid newbie, heh). Also, is this what I think it is? Is this python poo...

He seemed rather perturbed that I replaced the paper towel so quickly.

That's not poo.. that's urates.. solid pee you could say. (completely normal)

Python poo looks (and smells) like... poo!

Snakes don't always pee every day (my bloods love to though. lol)

Hmm... how often should they defecate? I've had the solid white/yellow deposits, which I thought were poo, but apparently not. I haven't smelled anything like it, either...

Snake poop looks like cat or dog poop basically or in Rauri's case....Great Dane poop! LOL

My snakes poop pretty much when they want too, generally every other week, sometimes more often, sometimes less often. They do pass urates more often than they defecate.

Peek in the hides...lots of time they poop/pee in their hides.

Mine was kind enough to poo actually on me the other evening - after falsely accusing hubby, then the dog, of doing the unmentionable :fart: I got this warm damp feeling ....

Raziel, too funny! The first time Kashmire pooed, it was a nice, little dainty package he left me. Now when he poos, I could swear that the cat has been inhabiting his enclosure! Kash poos about once a month.

My guy just loves to poo inside his hide, RIGHT up against the wall. Cleaning it up off the floor is easy, I just toss the newspaper, but I absolutely HATE having to clean it off walls of hides! He does this with his urates too. The only place I ever find excrement of any sort is up against/along the wall of his warm hide. My favourite is when it's right on top of the probe for the thermometer. THANKS, little buddy!

One of my kingsnakes poops in EVERY corner.. EVERY time! It's like she knows it's the hardest place for me to clean.
