Anybody use brown paper towel versus white paper towel for substrate?
Just curious. I was using reptibark but put my snake on normal white paper towel. I feel like the brown paper towel would simply look better. Anybody used brown commercial paper towel?

I don't see anything wrong with brown paper towels...I agree it would look better & if I had access (to buy them) that's what I'd use too. Though new acquisitions might
still be best on white until you're sure there are no health surprises. (mites or blood shows up much better on white) Mind if I ask where you buy brown paper towels?

(But the only brown paper towels I've seen aren't on rolls, they're not connected, & also they're not very absorbent. Is there another kind?)

Some people also like to use large rolls of corrugated packing material...like from Uline.com

    or corrugated wrap https://www.uline.com/Grp_39/Paper-Cushioning

I would have to order from home depo. Have have alot of options that can be picked up within a week. Im actually on white paper towel because my little guy had a few mites. Hes doing great, so in about a month when Im done treating Im gonna give the brown towel a try.

I doubt I ever go back to another substrate beside paper towel now, so I felt like going to brown would be a great option and the best visual of that option.

I'll have to check them out (@ Home Depot) thanks. I do use paper towels to line cages, but add a mix of paper shreds & Carefresh over-top, so they no longer look white
    anyway. (Carefresh is gray)

Looks like the brown paper towels from H.D. (on rolls) are all only about 8" wide...that wouldn't work well for me. Oh well...
