    Brown dots? Is This Normal?
Hi I have a 7 month old pastel. I'm wondering if these dots on his stomach and this very slightly reddish spot are normal or cause for concern. He is on coco fiber, his humidity is 50%, his temp ranges from mid 70s to low 80s on the cold side and he has a heat pad with a thermostat that gets up to 90 on the warm side. He has awater bowl that he can fit into and two hides. The encloure is a 10 gallon tank.

    Thank you.

Likely some substrates getting under the scales that's pretty common if you use loose bedding.

Than again it's not like I am examining the snake in person, those are pictures.

I agree, tough to tell in the pics. If you're referring to the small brown spots on the actual belly it probably is substrate, assuming you're using a dark substrate like Coco coir.
