Substrate

I was wondering if anyone has ever used or is using Carefresh bedding for any of their snakes. I have a connection and can get that stuff for pretty much the same price I can get aspen or any other bedding. It seems to be good stuff. Odor controll, absorbant, longer lasting, digestable without risk of internal damage ect. And its all recycled newspaper. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about that stuff other than whats written on the package.

I think it boils down to personal preference. Some people like newspaper, some like aspen, but it all comes back to what you like best. I use aspen and love it, but if it ever gets too much of a hassle I'll be going the newspaper route. Aspen doesn't pose an internal risk as far as digestions goes. Remember these animals digest bone and teeth. :D

I like plane old paper ... cause when it's clean it's clean.
