Advice for my bumblebee and his wobble
My bumblebee is about 2 months old and I’ve noticed him going upside down when he scopes while I’m holding him. I haven’t noticed him doing it in his tank. My question is are the any precautions i should take to keep him safe in his tank? I know some people disagree about breeding ball pythons with the spider gene and I respect everyone’s opinions and concerns but I’m just looking for advice. Thanks in advance.

Keep in mind that all Spider morphs wobble to some degree...severe wobble can impact quality of life and should be dealt with accordingly. From your description: That snake would have never made it out of my collection.

I find Spider morphs more prone to wrapping their prey items aggressively. If you have items in the enclosure that can be knocked over--I would take a good look at them for any potential issues if they strike each other/get flipped over.

Wobble also typically increases proportionally to stress: So try not to stress him out...(e.g. handling).

He would look up while scoping and his head would go backward a bit but he corrected quickly. It wasn’t bad but I could tell it was the wobble. I’ve fed him twice and both times he was on the mark. I have two hides and a one of the water bowls that looks like a rock. Compared to my normal he a lot more curious and seems to like being held. Thank you for your advice.
