    Way too small. Imo enclosures should be large enough for the snake to stretch out fully as a bare minimum.

    General rule of thumb is length plus width of the enclosure is greater than or equal to the length of the snake. So a 4x2 enclosure works for a snake up to 6’. This varies by species but works nicely with ball pythons. Although to directly answer the question, yes that enclosure is WAY too small.

    Considering the animal will have no choice but to lay in it's own urine and feces, yeah....way too small.
