question about wood and repti carpet
Hey guys i just have a couple of questions

i just bought a new baby redtail boa about a week or a little more ago and i put her in roxy's old cage which is a 30 gallon tall, since i hear that boas like to climb i thought it would be a good idea to get some wood and put it in her enclousure with her since its nice and tall. So i got some nice pieces of wood when we went hiking this weekend and i put them in a 10% bleach solotion but to me it just doesnt seem like they are clean one piece is kinda chipping and i dont know if it has termite damage or was rotting, what should i do ?

Also, i have a 30gal repti carpet that roxy was using before i moved her to a bigger tank and the boa is on newspaper, would it be alright to just wash Roxy's carpet and put it in with the new snake ??

Try soaking it again. If you use more than a 10% bleach solution just make sure you soak it again in plain water and let it dry real good. Then smell it for some aroma. Repeat if necessary.

I would, if "Roxy" is healthy. Just wash it in a 5% bleach solution and then rinse it and dry it before hand.

Not RTBs. Not that I have ever saw. They will a little bit, maybe, but mine never did so I switched them over to tubs... :)
